Coach EOIs for 2027 are open. Help shape our MiniRoos, junior and senior programs as teams and coaching appointments are formed. Experienced coaches, developing coaches and first-time applicants are welcome to express interest.

Help players learn, build confidence and enjoy their football at Darebin United. We welcome experienced coaches, developing coaches and people taking their first formal coaching role with club support.
Express your interest now so the club can consider your preferred program, role and availability. Opportunities may change as player numbers and coaching coverage are confirmed.
Submitting an EOI starts a conversation; it does not guarantee a team or coaching appointment.
Nominate the programs and roles that suit your interests, experience and availability. If you are flexible or unsure where you fit, tell us in your EOI.
| Program or role | Express interest in |
|---|---|
| MiniRoos U7–U11 | Helping younger players develop skills, confidence and a love of football. |
| Juniors U12–U17 | Supporting player development in our junior teams. |
| Girls & Senior Women | Coaching in our girls and women’s programs. |
| Senior Men | U18, U23, Metropolitan and State League pathway roles, as required. |
| Assistant or specialist roles | Supporting a head coach or contributing specialist skills where needed. |
These are areas of interest, not a confirmed vacancy list. Final roles depend on player numbers, team formation and coaching needs. The club will discuss available options as the program takes shape.
We value positive, reliable coaches who put players first. You do not need to have every qualification completed to express interest; tell us about your experience, courses in progress and willingness to learn.
Include your coaching qualifications, relevant playing or coaching experience and any courses in progress. Developing coaches are encouraged to apply.
Before an appointment is confirmed, coaches must meet the club’s requirements for the role, including safeguarding, screening and current Working with Children Check information where applicable.
Have these details ready for the current Coach EOI form:
If you are new to coaching, tell us what interests you and the support you would need.
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Club review | The club considers your preferences, experience, qualifications and availability alongside player numbers and team needs. |
| 2. Conversation | Relevant football leaders may contact you to discuss suitable roles, expectations and development needs. |
| 3. Checks and alignment | Qualifications, safeguarding, references and club expectations are checked where required. |
| 4. Appointment confirmation | Appointments are confirmed progressively as teams and coaching structures are finalised. |
Timing can vary between programs. A role or team may not be confirmed immediately. Appointment decisions consider the needs of each team, your suitability and alignment with club values.
If your availability or preferences change after applying, contact the club so it can consider your updated circumstances.
