About Darebin United

Darebin United Soccer Club was established in 1975 and is based at Mayer Park in Thornbury. The club has grown from its senior football foundations to provide a connected pathway for boys and girls across MiniRoos, junior, Under 18 and senior football.

Junior football was introduced in 2014 and has become an important part of the club’s identity and connection with local families. Darebin United welcomes players with different levels of experience and aims to provide a safe, inclusive and development-focused environment.

The club is a not-for-profit community organisation supported by coaches, committee members, team managers, parents, sponsors and volunteers. Their contribution makes training, match days, events and player development possible.

Our football pathway is guided by four phases—Identify, Develop, Evaluate and Build—so team formation, coaching, player development and registration planning are connected across the club.
