Darebin United is inviting Expressions of Interest from positive, reliable and player-focused coaches for the 2027 season across MiniRoos U7–U11, juniors U12–U17, the U18 and senior pathway, and girls’ and women’s football. Coach Expressions of Interest are now open.

We welcome experienced coaches, developing coaches and people ready to take their first formal coaching role with the right club support. Applicants can nominate their preferred age groups, coaching roles and availability.

Appointments will consider experience, qualifications, safeguarding requirements, communication, alignment with club values and the needs of each team. Submit your EOI and help us build a strong, connected football program for 2027.

I confirm and agree that:

1. The information I have provided is complete and accurate to the best of my knowledge.

2. Submitting this Expression of Interest does not guarantee a coaching or team-official appointment. Darebin United Soccer Club will determine appointments based on club requirements, suitability, experience, qualifications, availability and completion of relevant checks.

3. Any appointment may be conditional upon holding or obtaining a valid Working with Children Check unless legally exempt; completing reference, qualification and suitability checks; meeting applicable Football Victoria and Football Australia requirements; and completing required safeguarding, induction and coach-education activities.

4. I will comply with the separately linked Coach and Team Manager Code of Conduct and Child Safety and Code of Conduct.

5. I will support a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for every player, parent, volunteer, official and opposition participant.

6. I will follow Darebin United’s football program, player-development approach and reasonable directions from the Football Director, Technical Director, Junior Football Coordinator and authorised club officials.

7. I will communicate respectfully, protect confidential information and disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest relevant to my role.

8. I understand that serious or repeated breaches of club policies, safeguarding requirements or codes of conduct may result in an appointment being withdrawn or ended.

9. I authorise Darebin United to use the information supplied in this EOI to assess my suitability, contact nominated referees and undertake 2027 coaching and team-planning activities.
