Apollo Academy
Apollo Academy is the official player-development program of Darebin United Soccer Club, helping ambitious young players strengthen their technical skills, football understanding and confidence in a positive, structured and community-focused environment.
One Club. One Pathway. Apollo.
Built on Darebin United's Good to Great philosophy, Apollo Academy provides additional development training that complements club football and helps players take the next step in their game.
Who the Academy is for
Apollo Academy is typically designed for players aged 7–14 who want additional structured development alongside their normal team training and match commitments. Eligible ages and available groups may vary for each intake.
How the program works
- Additional training is delivered during school terms — Thursday for Term 4
- Term 4 runs from Thursday 8 October to Thursday 10 December 2026
- A club-run, not-for-profit and fully independent development program
- Limited places to support quality coaching and meaningful player feedback
- Program dates, fees, uniform requirements and registration arrangements are confirmed for each intake
Coaching and pathway
Sessions are led by Darebin United's Director of Football and coaching staff. The Academy is aligned with the club's playing style, creating a consistent development pathway from MiniRoos and junior football through to the club's senior program.
Term 4 2026 registration
Registrations open 28 September and close 25 October 2026.
