Player Development & Pathway

Darebin United’s football pathway is built around four connected phases: Identify, Develop, Evaluate and Build. Identify covers expressions of interest, player movement, trials and early squad projections. Develop focuses on training quality, coaching alignment and individual and team improvement. Evaluate uses ongoing observation and review to guide development and pathway decisions. Build converts those decisions into offers, registrations, balanced squads and next-season planning. The model applies across boys, girls, MiniRoos, Juniors, Under 18s and Seniors, with activities adjusted for each age group.
